ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. The minimum qualifying marks to apply for the scholarship shall be
a. 60% in Higher Secondary Final year for those who apply for Combined Merit Degree Scholarship scheme
b. 60% in General Degree Course for those who apply for the Combined Merit Master Degree Scholarship scheme
2. Students pursuing 1st semester general Degree and 1st semester general Master Degree course in Arts/Science/ Commerce discipline in provincialized/Govt. College or State/ Central University of Assam for the session 2022-2023 are eligible for the schemes.
3. The student must be in a domicile of Assam.
4. The Students must have a valid (up-to-date) Active Bank Account in their name (Preferably in SBI) and details to be submitted along with the application(Bank Name, A/c Number, Branch Name, IFSC Code)
5. Scholarship shall be disbursed through the DBT system to the beneficiaries.
6. The Candidate should possess the relevant qualification from any recognized Institution.
7. Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit in all cases and also be restricted as per budget allocation.
P.G RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME 2022-2023
GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY:
1. Students must have uniformly good academic records and have obtained at least 55% marks in the last qualifying examinations (i.e.UG &P.G).
2. Students who are admitted as LLM/M.Phil/Ph.d/ Post Doctorate Research Scholar in any recognized University for the session 2022-2023 are eligible for the schemes.
3. The student must be in a domicile of Assam(PRC document mandatory)
4. The Students must have a valid (up-to-date)Bank Account in their name (Preferably in SBI) and details to be submitted along with the application(Bank Name, A/c Number, Branch Name, IFSCCode)
5. Scholarship shall be disbursed through the DBT system to the beneficiaries.
6. The candidate should possess the relevant qualification from any recognized Institution.

SCHOLARSHIP BELONGING TO THE MINORITY COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME 2022-2023
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1) The minimum qualifying marks to apply for the scholarship shall be
a. 50% in Higher Secondary Final year for those who apply for Minority Girls Scholarship Degree(UG) scheme
b. 50% in General Degree Course for those who apply for Minority Girls Scholarship Degree(PG) scheme
2) Students pursuing 1st semester General Degree and 1st semester General Master Degree course in Arts/Science/ Commerce discipline in provincialized/Govt. College or State Universities for the session 2022-2023 are eligible for the schemes.
3) The Girl students belonging to minority communities must be in a domicile of Assam,
4) The Girl students must belong to a notified minority community i.e Muslims/Sikhs/Christians/Buddhists/Jains and Parsis. A Self-Certified Community Certificate is required from the student.
5) The annual income of their parents/ guardians from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2.00 lakh only. An income Certificate issued by the competent authority of the State Governments is required in respect of parent(s)/guardian(s) of the student MANDATORY. An income Certificate issued by others or an affidavit will not be accepted.
6) The students must have a valid Bank Account in their name in a Nationalized Bank. (Preferably SBI)
7) The Scholarship amount will be credited to the selected bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode.
8) Selection will be made strictly on the basis of budgetary provision for the year 2022-2023
