Assam Education Department has withdrawn Clause-5 of the Evaluation Criteria proposed by the Education Department earlier.
That means, for SEBA-AHSEC, the HSLC & HSSLC mark sheets will available for all jobs, including TET.
Today, Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, along with Education Ranoj Pegu attended a significant meeting, with other stakeholders, where the decisions were made.
Clause 5 of the Evaluation methods of Assam state boards mention that the mark sheets which will be provided based on internal evaluation won't be valid for future government jobs and students must appear for an equivalent exam to qualify for jobs.

Releasing the evaluation process for SEBA-AHSEC students, Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu mentioned the allowance of re-examination for students dissatisfied with the results declared by the board.
Even if a single student is dissatisfied and demands a physical re-exam, the education department will conduct exams for them. The students aiming for betterment can also appear in this re-exam.
"If not this year, the students willing to reappear can sit for exams even in 2022," said Minister Ranoj Pegu.
📌 Evaluation Formula For SEBA will be,
📍 40% from Class-9
📍 40% from all Class-10 exams
📍 20% from School-based Internal Assessment
📌 Students’ past records to be checked. Not more than 10% can increase than the students’ record.
📌 Evaluation formula for AHSEC to be differentiated into two divisions,
📍 All Streams having practical subjects,
👉🏼 50% - Best of 3 from Class-10
👉🏼 30% from Class-12 practicals
👉🏼 10% Internal Assignment from Class 11 & 12
👉🏼 10% Additional percent to all students
📍 For Streams without Practical (Arts + Commerce)
👉🏼 50% - Best of 3 from HSLC
👉🏼 40% Internal Assessment from Class 11 & 12
👉🏼 10% Additional to all students
📌 The additional 10% marks will be given as per the criteria of students getting,
📍 1st division - 10%
📍 2nd division-7%
📍 3rd division-5%
