Assam Public Service Commission invites applications from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to B of the Constitution of India for the under-mentioned post under APGCL in the scale of pay as indicated below and carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of APGCL.

i. Junior Manager (Electrical) in Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL)
ii. Junior Manager (Mechanical) in Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL)
iii. Junior Manager (lT) in Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL)
iv, Junior Manager (instrumentation) in Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL)
(2) No of posts:-
i. Junior Manager (Electrical)=10 Nos,
ii. Junior Manager (Mechanical)=10 Nos.
iii. Junior Manager (IT)=5 Nos.
iv. Junior Manager (lnstrumentationl=5 Nos,
The scale of Pay:

Age:
The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 01-01-2023, The upper
Age limit is relaxable:
By 5 (Five) years for SC/SIP/SIH candidates i.e. up to 43 years.
By 3(Three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years as per Govt. notification
Persons with benchmark disability (PwBD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of
candidates as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 180120171105 dated Dispur the 7th January 2019.
The maximum age in respect of Ex-Servicemen shall be 50 (fifty) years for the Un-reserved category and shall be relaxed by 3 (three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5(five) years for SC/ST candidates.
The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/HSlC Admit Card/Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.
Educational Qualification: -
For the post of Junior Manager, Full-time Diploma course in Engineering from any Govt./ Govt.
recognized/ All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved Polytechnic/institution and the
course duration should be of minimum 3 (Three) years after HSLC or equivalent or {2 (Two) Years (Base) + 2
(Two) Years (Diploma)) course from Govt./ Govt. recognized AICTE approved institution. Minimum 60%
marks in the qualifying examination of the Diploma course in Engineering for the said post is required ln case of
SC & ST candidates, minimum of 50% marks are a must in the qualifying examination of full-time diploma course,
a) For Junior Manager (Electrical): Full-time Diploma in (Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics
Engineering).
b) For Junior Manager (Mechanical): Full time 3(three) years diploma in Mechanical Engineering
c) For Junior Manager (lT): Full time 3(three) years diploma in Computer Science & Engineering/information
Technology/Computer Technology.
d) For Junior Manager (Instrumentation): Full-time 3(three) years diploma in instrumentation Engineering.
